.1 9 1 1 birth lottie comes from a black family that was incredibly obsessed with beauty- which was why they got so many more chances than their other counterparts. they were considered the “best of the best”, as thats what you had to be to get a career as a woman of color in these times. her mother was an actor— but as she grew older she was eventually pushed out of the industry. lottie’s birth was the turning point of this as the general public wasn’t at all shy on speculating that she slept her way to the top. So when she got pregnant they threw her to the side.this drove her mother insane. however, in her eyes there was a silver lining. lottie was a way to continue her legacy.. and fortunately/unfortunately for lottie, she came out even prettier than her mother. atleast in the eyes of the public, as her father was a mixed man.1 9 2 3 adolescence she entered her first beauty pageant as a preteen and took on a “shy” and “cute” persona as she could not risk seeming confident as a woman of her background under no means (given her mother had to bribe to get her in) . This would work out very well for her. However, even if she was favored; she was still in second place. Due to her mothers disappointment, as well as a family legacy to uphold.. to a 12 year old, this turned into a life or death situation. And she began to plot. She found out the girl in first place had an eating disorder. So, she created “whispers.” All starting from a little note on the bathroom mirror. The girl couldn’t take the humiliation and mockery— which was filled with the scathing spite and hatred of a group of spoiled preteens, so she took her own life. now in first place, to solidify her spot she put on a very convincing show of empathy. she baked cookies, cried and weeped over her death. gave her sorrow and prayers. this would solidify her famous and eventually fatal career in the public eye. soon, she would debut as the youngest a-listing singer/model in america of the 30’s, and a girl of many talents. lottie does not, or rather tries not to remember this. it’s a memory she’s buried deep in her brain and locked away.1 9 2 8 rise as she got older, lottie began to adore the spotlight even without her mothers influence. she was known as "New York's Darling" due to her almost charming, and almost childish nature. though many expressed concern for a girl so young with that much exposure to fame, most didn't care much at all. at some point her fame began to compete with her mothers; the public starting to compare the two. her mother, feeling threatened, because she never meant for lottie to get that famous started to despise her. their relationship was already not very well; but this completely severed it. unfortunately this meant lottie was completely naive and unaware which was an incredibly dangerous thing to be. especially in the industry. she had no idea that she was already in the sights of a certain someone.1 9 3 0 prime, when she was about 18, even though she heard the occasional chatter about Vincent Whittman (it was impossible not to.) she saw him on tv for the first time. she was completely enamoured, though completely unaware . one day she attended a red carpet event— where he was invited to as well. they exchanged a few words, mainly vincent praising her about how amazing she was; and how he saw that she had serious potential to be something great.during the late show when everyone was a little tipsy and the small few that were still there began saying their farewells, a designer by the name of victoria madison asked whittman out on stage. lottie didn't take very lightly to this. even if she knew they were drunk out of their minds. but hearing him say yes, even if jokingly; infuriated her. lottie followed her for a few blocks and stabbed her dead in an alley using a butchers knife she snatched from the kitchen. to her dismay, though, whittman saw everything. In fact- he had been watching her while she followed victoria. he planned to murder her that night- that was, until he saw they were the same type of ambitious. he took her in as a protege. in both fame, and .. bloody extracurricular activities. their relationship always had been a little "odd." noone quite knows what kind of relationship the two of them had. not even themselves, really. but the two were unseperable; even going as far as moving lottie into his house. there was a great connection between the two, that much was obvious. and as their fame grew, so did their adoration for eachother. when vincent died she was grief stricken. she went into a very deep depression after his death, only making it three days before she purposefully overdosed in her bathtub. and that's only because she couldn't come to terms with the fact that he died until she was called about his funeral.re bir t h .in hell the two kept eachother company. frightened and alone, they only had eachother for years- though their power dynamic was still very much relevant. wanting nothing more than to see him rise once more, she ended up giving her soul to him as both an act of devotion and trust in his company. it wasn't quite hard to get her to fame. she took a more musical route in her career, many beginning to know her as "Darling", a pop idol. her preylike appearance made her incredibly popular.. and profitable, making her quite a popular figure for advertising. her face is pretty much slapped everywhere on every product; food, utensils, plushies. she ended up gaining the title of “idol overlord", and also "hell's darling" with her own incredible cult following of fans- both male and female. she has never really had to take a soul. they seem to willingly give themselves to her.
